For Contractual Obligations 

In creating a user account, Grow Baby will enter a contract with you for you to purchase our goods, and for us to deliver those goods and process returns. This will comply with any legal or regulatory obligations such as tax or financial laws.

Grow Baby processes Personal Information in a manner that is reasonable, relevant and purpose specific. For users to access and use our Platforms we collect and process some Personal Information. When you become a registered user, we must collect and process your Personal Information to render our services to you.

When you register to use our Platforms, we may collect the following Personal Information:

• Name and Surname, Date of Birth, Identification number.
• Email address, Physical address, Billing information and Cell phone number.

Should your Personal Information change or you wish to amend and/or correct this Personal Information you can do this by updating your registered user information in your account profile.

You warrant that the information you have provided is accurate, current, true, and correct and that does not impersonate or misrepresent any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with anyone or anything.

Please note Grow Baby does not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing or any other purposes. The below are the only areas in which your Personal Information can be used.

• Internal Staff – Employees, the staff of the companies in the Grow Learning Group and/or third-party service providers or partners that assist us to interact with you via our Platforms for the marketing, ordering and/or delivery of goods.
• Other - In the event of any reorganisation, merger, consolation, sale, joint venture, or other disposition of any or all our assets; third party(s) could be given access to your Personal Information.
• Officials - Law enforcement, government officials, fraud detection agencies or other third parties when the disclosure of Personal Information is necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringements, or other activity that is illegal or may expose us to legal liability or financial loss, to report or support the investigation into suspected illegal activity.
• Exiting Service Providers - Our service providers who are at the time under contract with Grow Baby. These service providers can assist with various parts of the Grow Baby business. All contractors sign an NDA and may only use your Personal Information in connection with the services they perform for Grow Baby, and not for their own benefit or any other purpose. All information is treated as confidential.
• Service Providers outside of South Africa – Data storage, Data Integrity and back-up of information is critical to the security of our business. We may use service providers that can assist with data outside of South Africa. We will ensure that we do so in accordance with the requirements for lawful transfer outside of South Africa as set out in POPI.

 At Grow Baby we keep your Personal Information for,

• The time it is required by law and in line with our internal retention policies.
• The time you have agreed to keep the contract open unless you have otherwise requested to stop processing your Personal Information.

By accessing and using our Platforms, you consent to Grow Baby retaining records of your Personal Information for no longer than may be necessary to achieve the purpose for which the information was initially collected or subsequently processed.

We will not use your Personal Information for any other purpose without your permission.

You do have the right to request that you “opt – out”, of any direct marketing. Direct marketing is deemed to be any form of electronic communication such as email and/or SMS notifications.

What are Cookies? These are small text files placed on the device that you use to access our Platforms. These files do not contain your Personal Information but allow us to associate you with a particular device.

They ensure the security and integrity of our platform. With independent auditors that asses the security of the data stored, as well as the financial systems.

• Request Grow Baby to correct, destroy or delete your Personal Information.
